Last Week: Sleep and the Brain
We learned that different stages of sleep play a role in various types of learning and memory formation. Last week, we explored how each sleep cycle phase helps refresh and revitalize the brain for optimal functioning.
This Week: Living with Grief and Loss
Grief is a natural response to loss. Grief includes emotional suffering as we understand that something or someone we love is gone. Often, the pain of loss can feel overwhelming. We may find ourselves drowning in complex and unexpected emotions. In this lesson, we will explore grief's physiological, physical, and emotional processes.
