Welcome to Week 15! It is Mother's Day! Let's celebrate the diverse array of mother figures who have made a positive impact on our lives.

Summer Classes: Registration for summer classes will open on May 13. Please mark your calendars and enroll in your desired courses. Summer classes will run from July 8 through August 10, and we are thrilled to offer two types of Brain Fitness classes.

Last week, we explored the vulnerability of Alzheimer's patients, types of elder abuse, and indicators of mistreatment. Professor Minoo shared an insightful video on recognizing signs of elder abuse. Let's remain vigilant, informed, and compassionate utilizing available resources:

There are thousands of phytonutrients found in plant foods. This class will summarize the effects of phytonutrients, such as anthocyanins and phenolic compounds, on cognitive function. Phytonutrients also have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that may help support a healthy brain.
