Our Spring semester began with an Orientation. We went over websites, specifically:
Course website: bfclass.com
BrainHQ site: https://v4.brainhq.com/
Student site with schedule and more: sdcestudent55.com
Site to enroll in classes: myportal.sdccd.edu.
Official SDCCE site: sdcce.edu
We considered that our Spring lessons belong to one or more categories—Physiology, Cognition, and Lifestyle. We reflected upon our motivations for taking Brain Fitness and our goals as we continue our journey. Your personal and academic goals are like fingerprints—distinctive and reflective of your path. Whether you aim to deepen your understanding of the subject matter, enhance specific skills, or find joy in learning, your goals are valid and essential.
This Week: Depression in the Brain
We will review how depression affects the brain, signs and causes of depression, and tips to deal with depression. This lesson we will look at depression by focusing on changes in the depressed brain, risk factors, signs and symptoms, optional treatment, and when to seek professional help.
