4/28 Week Thirteen: Inflammation and the Brain
"Nothing is impossible. The word itself says 'I'm possible!'" — Audrey Hepburn
Hello Brain Fitness Students,
It's Week 13, and we're delighted to have you in class! Please attend class, participate in quizzes, and engage in BrainHQ exercises when possible.
The midterm survey is officially closed. Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete it. We're grateful for your active participation and the insightful responses we received.
Summer Schedule
The summer class schedule is now on the student website. You can access it and plan your summer classes. However, registration for these classes will open on May 13. Please mark your calendars and enroll in your desired courses starting on that date.

Grief can feel so personal, and yet, it is something all of us experience in our lives. Each of us may grieve in different ways, with moments we feel lost in the grief and other moments in which we begin to see ourselves moving forward. Grief can feel overwhelming. Being gentle and patient with yourself, and with others who are grieving, supports healthy responses. Reach out to a grief counselor, therapist, spiritual guide, or other trusted expert for support as you walk the path from loss to healing.
As we begin to understand the disease process and brain health, we are aware of the impact of chronic inflammation in the brain. Although we have looked at this before, we will expand and discuss evolving research.
