AAPI Heritage Month !
Cambodian/Vietnamese Artist Lim Khim Katy based her paintings off of her experiences and interactions of her daily life. 5th graders observed what are the key components of a landscape and what items are featured in her work. From there, they composed their own landscape composition.
1st graders learned about the hatching process of a a baby chick. Students used arches and formed them into patterned eggs or expressive chicks!
K/1 SC class formed sculptural flowers through several techniques such as: twisting, bending, threading beads, and tying.
