For May Asian American and Pacific Islander Month, shout out to Tran Nguyen! Born in Vietnam and now lives in Geogria she uses her surroundings with a soft touch in lines. The works on portraits seems mystical with botanical surrounds and species through the use of color pencil and acrylic on paper.
She was featured for World WildLife Fund.

Freelance Illustrator and Graphic Artist
Pratham Books
In celebration of Asian Hertiage Month. I am shouting out Adrija Ghosh! She is an artist from Klokata, India. I provided a link to her very first book "Bhou".
Here is a quote from her to hear about what it is like to work as an freelance illustrator:
"Working as a freelancer artist might look like it's the most exciting job in the planet (and some times, it is!) but there is always a flipside where clients come up to me and tell me this exact thing: "I WANT SOMETHING DIFFERENT, NOT GENERIC ... OUT OF THE BOX" without even telling me what is it that they don't like about the generic and what different approach they want in their products. It leaves me thinking and pondering until I am completely at a loss leaving me with a blank canvas and a pushed deadline."
Images and infomation are from her profile on: https://www.behance.net/
In celebration of World braille day ( January 4th), I am showcasing an exhibition "Journey by dots" created from UK based artist Clarke Reynolds.
As he is visually-impaired, he invites his audience to use his art as tactile stories that are color coded to help decode stages of his life.
