Faculty are shown school-wide data regularly and provide input on universal foundations (e.g., expectations, acknowledgements, definitions, consequences) at least every 12 months.

Valued outcomes are specified, endorsed, emphasized and monitored frequently and regularly because of their social and educational significance.

TFI 1.10 Big Ideas

In this element, the Team routinely shares a variety of data with staff and actively seeks their input to encourage the commitment and maintenance of school-wide processes.

This element includes:

  • developing an annual schedule to regularly share data with staff

  • selecting appropriate data sets to share

  • seeking staff input regarding Universal Foundations - expectations, acknowledgements, definitions, consequences.

School staff are actively engaged in all SWPBIS Tier I practices, demonstrate ownership of the system, and accept responsibility for sustaining practices that are effective for all students.

Sharing Data with Staff


  • Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) - the team's evaluation of implementation fidelity. (PBISApps )

  • Self Assessment Survey (SAS) - the staff's perception of the degree to which PBIS practices are in place and the areas of highest priority.

  • PBIS Rewards - the level of usage of the school-wide incentive program. (PBIS Rewards - yearly subscription)

  • PD Implementation fidelity - the data collected to support PD focus (instructional rounds, self-report, administrator walk-throughs)

  • Panorama

      • Climate & Culture - the students' perception of the school - as it relates to academic support, fairness of the rules, sense of belonging and safety.

      • SEL - the students' perception of their own development of Self-Management, Growth Mindset, Social Awareness, Hope, and Self-Efficacy.

      • Family Survey - the families' perception of the school - as it relates to school climate, customer service, family support…

  • SEL Instructional Data - the number of SEL lessons taught to date.

  • Selected Discipline Data - a variety of referral and expulsion reports in Aeries which are used by the Team to identify concerns and create action plans.

  • Tier One Intervention Data - the number of students receiving classroom intervention

  • Attendance Data - the progress of classes participating in the school-wide attendance drive.


Seeking Faculty Feedback

Possible Data Sharing & Feedback Schedule

  • 1st Data Sharing (Aug/Sept): The Team shares their Action Plan for the year and the context for how the decision was made, i.e., TFI, SAS, Panorama. The team seeks staff input and feedback.

  • 2nd Data Sharing (Oct/Nov): The Team shares selected discipline data based for the purpose of reviewing - and possibly revising - the behavior instructional calendar (Office Referrals, Instructional Schedule). The Team seeks feedback.

  • 3rd Data Sharing (Dec/Jan): Fidelity data related to the Action Plan/PD focus.

  • 4th Data Sharing (Feb/April): Tier 1 intervention updates
