Week 1 Math 9

By the end of the week, you (each student) should have a good understanding of how to do this list:

I CAN estimate based on real life benchmarks

I CAN find the surface area of a regular polygon (2D shape)

I CAN find the surface area of a regular polyhedron (3D shape)

Click on the links below for a Khan Academy video introduction to Area & Perimeter (this list will also be posted to Google Classroom for both 9N & 9C)

   • Practice Area of Triangle Problems
   • you should be shooting for more than 80% correct, retry until you acheive this
   • Be sure to be logged in to your RVS EMAIL before clicking on the practice problems in Khan Academy!!!!
3. Area of a Parallelogram Video Review
   • Practice Area of a Parallelogram Problems
   • you should be shooting for more than 80% correct, retry until you acheive this

For specific questions to problems students should be accessing me during the video tutorial times on Tuesday and Thursday from 10-11 am.
