Cutting Jump Rings
Cutting Jump Rings is a two step process.
First - you must make a coil of wire that is tightly wound (we are using a piece of 1/4" round bar for the chainmail)
The wire we will be using is 16 gauge:
Second - you will cut the rings with a jeweler's saw.
- We have made a holder for a piece of 1/4" wooden dowel (the dowel is a sacrificial piece that you will make cuts into).
Now you will have MILLIONS of jump rings to make wonderfully elegant designs ;)
