A fast-growing Clean Energy FinTech company is seeking an experienced and results-driven E-commerce Sales Lead to build, scale, and manage its direct-to-consumer (D2C) online sales channel.
The organization empowers solar providers and energy consumers through flexible payment plans, system design tools, logistics support, and supply-chain enablement that accelerate clean-energy adoption across Nigeria.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end performance of our e-commerce channel from customer acquisition to fulfillment, delivery, and post-purchase experience. You will drive revenue growth, manage operational workflows, optimize conversion rates, and lead cross-functional initiatives with Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Product, and Operations.
This is a high-impact, build-and-scale role for an analytical operator who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership, and delivers measurable results.
Drive daily and weekly revenue performance against sales targets.
Identify performance gaps using data and deploy corrective actions in real time.
Optimize conversion across acquisition, product pages, funnels, and checkout flows.
Develop and implement pricing, promotions, discounting, and sales campaigns.
Lead growth initiatives, including partnerships, marketing collaborations, and funnel optimization.
Manage end-to-end e-commerce operations, including order processing, delivery, logistics coordination, and customer support.
Partner with Logistics and Warehouse teams to ensure fast, accurate, and cost-efficient fulfillment.
Work with Installation and Concierge teams to ensure seamless post-purchase experience.
Oversee inventory visibility, stock forecasting, and operational readiness.
Implement and manage CRM tools, WhatsApp Business workflows, and automated follow-up sequences.
Build communication flows for lead nurturing, abandoned cart recovery, and lifecycle engagement.
Ensure consistent, personalized communication across all customer touchpoints.
Build daily dashboards tracking revenue, conversion rates, CAC, ROAS, delivery metrics, and customer behavior.
Provide weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
Analyze funnel data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Partner with Marketing on campaigns, creatives, promotions, and acquisition channels.
Work closely with Product/Tech teams to improve e-commerce infrastructure and integration.
Collaborate with Finance on margin analysis, pricing, and revenue forecasting.
Coordinate with Growth & Strategy Operations on strategic priorities and expansion goals.
Manage and coach E-commerce Sales Associates.
Provide performance feedback, training, and skill development.
Build a high-performance culture focused on speed, ownership, and operational discipline.
Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.
Improve conversion rates across key acquisition channels.
Achieve strong operational metrics: fast delivery times, low cancellation rates, high fulfillment accuracy.
Increase profitability through cost optimization and improved unit economics.
Maintain high customer satisfaction and positive reviews.
Demonstrates ownership mentality over the e-commerce P&L.
Executes quickly, iterates fast, and makes decisions based on data.
Shows strong cross-functional leadership without needing formal authority.
Maintains clear communication with concise, insight-driven updates.
Proactively identifies issues and drives solutions independently.
Strong understanding of marketplace operations, D2C funnels, and online sales.
Knowledge of fulfillment, logistics, inventory management, and customer service.
Experience implementing CRM systems, WhatsApp tools, and automation workflows.
Ability to optimize conversion, reduce friction, and improve customer experience.
Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
Experience building dashboards, interpreting performance data, and tracking KPIs.
Ability to run A/B tests, analyze funnel metrics, and derive actionable insights.
Ability to manage teams, motivate colleagues, and influence cross-functionally.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
High ownership mindset with the ability to operate with limited structure.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
4–6 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce operations, marketplace management, or digital sales.
Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and managing P&L.
Strong experience with customer acquisition, CRM tools, funnel optimization, and e-commerce analytics.
Demonstrated ability to build and scale operational processes in fast-paced environments.
