Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, Section 16 (6), 20 - High Court entertained a writ petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India against an order of learned District Judge, purportedly passed under Section 20 of the Act read with Section 19 of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 - This application was made by respondent to District Judge against a partial award under Section 16 of the Act - Such an application was not tenable, vide Section 16 (6) of the Act - It was held that since such an application was not tenable, therefore, how in a writ petition filed against an order made by the District Judge in an untenable application, the High Court could have set aside the partial award - Judgment of High Court set aside - Constitution of India, Article 227 - Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006, Section 19.
