It is interesting to see how similar the teacher mentality is between the ones I have seen so far. The want to make change for students is in all future educators. I like to think that we are the adults we would have felt safe with when we were younger and our model for that is the people we looked up to. You seem to have a compassion-based teaching style and that will be useful to make meaningful connections to your students.
