Hi, Erin! I really enjoyed your page. I did like the mention that while you don't teach your religion in public schools, you will bring your values from your religion and implement it in your teaching. I believe that's a good distinction! I agree that learning to see how our students are different is important, and believe it's something teachers must continually do as they grow and the world outside changes!
P.S. I love the name Lynnox!
Erin, what a great author page! I feel like I know you even though we have never met. I was hesitant to mention faith on my page as working with public schools it is a bit on the taboo side. Faith can certainly guide us in all that we do whether or not anyone knows our church affiliation! Assessments are something I look forward to learning how to perform. They are so critical in this field and terrifying at the same time. I appreciate the lighthouse as the representative of being you as the teacher, guiding and directing and shining a light on the path to take; fantastic imagery
Hi Erin, your author page is so colorful and fun to look at! I love your connection between learning and listening to music. Music is such a great tool to use when teaching. When I taught kindergarten in a private daycare setting, I always connected a lesson to a fun music video for kids. Jack Hartmann is AMAZING! As I would sit at my desk I could hear my students singing his songs. I can tell your classroom will be filled with fun music and laughter! I look forward to working with you this semester and I enjoyed getting to know you better!- Taylor Costello
Hello Erin, the amount of details and creativity you put into your author page is incredible! One part that stood the most out to me was the list of classroom vibes. I feel also that it's super important that we make a classroom environment safe and fun as educators and I feel as that list is the perfect reminder of that.
