Hi Ca'Leah, I would like to first start off by saying that you have such a pretty and unique name! I to think it is very important to have patience. I use to work as an after school program teacher and I loved it especially being able to such the young ones fun little science experiments. Seeing their eyes get to big and they faces full of excitement made me see that at such a young age those kids have the curiosity and all they need are good teachers to encourage and allow them to be as curious as their minds can take them within their educational career!- Eli G.
Hi Ca'Leah. I enjoyed reviewing your"About the Author Page". I am also wanting to learn how to make lesson plans that meet different learning styles as well. I liked how you stated that you will encourage classroom discussion and problem-solving so students can learn how to think, not by memorization. From my own experience being in the classroom, the students enjoy participating in classroom discussions and sharing their thoughts and ideas. Classroom discussions are a great way for students to engage and for teachers to learn more about their students. Having classroom discussions improves student's confidence, communication and collaboration skills.~Kimberly Greelish
Hi Ca'Leah! I agree with what your class expectations are and the section on what you have to know. I also want to focus on how to create an engaging enviorment for all students regardless of their learning style. Its a challenge I think that will help us all grow into the teachers we want to be! I also have multiple sisters but they are both older. Its easy to see from the what I know section that you are very open minded and accepting! keep it up :) -dpn
Hey Ca'Leah! I like that you mentioned creating a safe environment for your students. It is important for students to be comfortable in their classrooms in order for them to learn. I also am aware of the fact that every student learns differently. I find it unfortunate that some instructors are not acommodating to some of their students that may need different things academically. If someone does not learn a certain way we must find a way that best helps them learn! - Thalia Johnson
India Bell-Johnson - I love your page. I really think the colors you choose are beautiful. The quote you put on your “What I know” slide about patience really resonates with my own personal beliefs. I do agree with your “What I Have to Learn” and it’s some of the things I’m looking forward to myself. I really enjoyed reading your page!
How I used AI
I used AI to make my picture by typing a descrition of what I wanted. I explained what the teacher should look like, how the classroom should be, and the vibe I wanted. Then AI took my words and made it into an animated picture that matched my description. This connects to my philosophy of Perennialism because I believe teaching should focus on timeless truths and classic ideas, and AI helped me show that in a modern, creative way.
