Hi, India I really enjoyed reading your page and getting to know you. I love your AI pictures that you used, and the outline of your classroom in the pictures. It showed a lot about your personality. I liked how you talked about your background and how it shaped you into the person and teacher you want to become. The way you described teaching as a way to honor your roots showed how passionate you are about helping others and creating a space where your students will feel safe and loved. - Imonni Jones
Hey India! I love how you worded your entire page, but the What I Have To Learn section really stood out. I also feel like it is so imprtant to have an inclusive environemnt. Students will be more engaged and excited about what they're learning if they feel that it applies to them. So it is important to make sure everyone feels included in all activities and lessons, even if you have to tweak them to fit students. -Hailee Layne
I love the fact that you bring the ability to connect to people and listen deeply into the classroom because I can really resonate with someone who can make connections easily and be a good support system when someone needs it. You wanting to give your kids lessons for inside and outside of the classroom is also something that's very admirable and how I'd like to be too. I also want to challenge myself to learn from my students because they often do have interesting things to say. Nurturing the whole child and being a "gardener" also really stuck with me because ever since wanting to become a teacher, I have wondered how my future students will do in the real world someday, and it excites me to think that I can be a part of that journey. - Peter C
