The following picture is me at the top of Whiteface Mountain. At an elevation of 1483.5 meters the view can be quite impressive. However getting there was fairly easy as I drove my car almost to the very top, then took an elevator. Nothing very big and exciting.

However, imagine being dropped off by helicopter at the top of Verbier in Switzerland getting ready to snowboard all the way to the bottom. Now that is something I know I'll never do as my snowboarding expertise would probably get me into serious trouble. Not the same for Frank. He's as good as it gets and this mountain isn't his first. Now look at the landscape behind (3330 meters)

Now with the magic of photoshop, I now made it to the top of Verbier. The sun was perfect that day and the temperature was slightly above 0.

Of course this never happened but by using my original picture and Frank's picture I was able to create a pretty good illusion of myself being at the top of the world. If you look closely however, you see some tell tell features that would give it away. How many of you notice the cap at first glance?

Your task now is to create a virtual travel itinary for yourself. Be creative, who wouldn't like to see the pyramids. Find three pictures on-line of places where you'd like to be. Then, with a friend, take pictures of yourself in a position that you know would make the picture believable. Use Photoshop and the skills you've learned to create that new virtual picture of yourself someplace around the world.
