I'm keeping the daily agenda in English as many parents have requested. However, the site will be in french as the students will be working in French throughout this semester.

When working from home, students are expected to complete the same hours of work as the opposite cohort currently at school. At home learning will require a lot of independant learning strategies. Students will have to manage their time and work habits in order to ensure they complete each assignments at it's highest quality and on time. A calendar in Google Classroom should be used as a guide in order to ensure you are not falling behind on your work.

Live time is allocated each day at 2h00 to discuss about questions students might have regarding the work done at home that morning or the previous day. Those live sessions are also an opportunity to learn little tips and tricks about the software being used.

You'll be using this cloud software exclusively during the Photography assignment. It's important to go through my site. Follow the links and watch all the video tutorials that I have created for you. You can pause, rewind, review all videos at any time

Your now starting to have an understanding of how photos/pictures work. This next little assignment will help you understand what all these terms mean and how they are used.

- Once completed, create a subpage under Photography on your Web Portfolio. Put your newly created emoji onto your site with a brief description of the steps you've taken to create it.

The best time to take pictures is while traveling. Unfortunately during COVID, traveling is off limites for many destinations around the world. However, with the majic of Photography, world traveling is still a possibility.

Find a picture of yourself while on vacation somewhere. Now using PhotoPEA, modify the picture so that you're now traveling throughout the globe. Choose 2 different locations of travel and put yourself into the picture. Look at the tutorials on my site, they will guide you step by step on how to proceed. By the time you're done with your third place of travel, you'll be an expert with PhotoPEA.

As you are learning how to manipulate photos, only the first Selfie is due by the end of the day. However you should have most of the other two pictures done as next class will inroduce another exercise.

Scientifically, cloning is the process of producing genetically identical individuals of an organism either naturally or artificially. For us using photo editing software, cloning is creating a picture where an exact copy of yourself is part of the same picture. For this exercise, you'll be using yourself as the cloning experiment.

You're now an expert with PhotoPEA. You know how to work with layers, how to take away sections of images and how to fuse images together. It's time to show me all that you've learned and create an image of yourself either competing against yourself in a sport (i.e. martial art exemple provided) or having yourself as a team mate ( i.e tennis).

Last period, you started working on the "World Travel" exercise. You first need to complete the last two travel areas before completing the "Clone" exercise. Only the first clone exercise is due today.

Editing video and or audio are valuable tools everyone should learn. Today's cell phones have amazing video and audio capabilities. Everyday, millions of videos are created and uplaoded up the clouds. However, few of those videos will ever be shared are viewed by the public. The reason is that most videos aren't shot with any knowledge about videography which turns out in little videos that only have value to the person who recorded it.

This assigment will change that. With the use of ClipChamp you'll be able to create short, informational videos professionaly done and easily sharable with your friends.

First, let's learn a few rules about taking videos and tips and tricks used by professionals. View the first 2 videos then go ahead, take an hour and try to recreate with your own phone the techniques and see if you can make them work.

Create a short clip of yourself showing/demonstrating something simple/special. Could be showing your parent's car or explaining how to use a can opener, you decide. Upload the small video clips to Clipchamp and try putting it all together. Play with the various transition tools, text options, voice overs etc....

First, if not completed, complete number 2 and 3 of the clone exercise. Once completed, make sure to submit all your "World Travel" and "Clone" exercises before moving to ClipChamp.

Therefore I should see you on the screen as you present your product.
