Start a science club for your peers or younger students.
Develop commercial awareness by researching the healthcare sector, the sectors you would work with, and the key contemporary issues.
Undertake work experience in a relevant environment, such as a hospital, care home or dentist surgery to demonstrate your interest in these areas.
Attend lecture series in school related to medicine or dentistry.
Listen to a medicine or dentistry related podcast such as RSM Health Matters or Bedside Rounds .
