In years 9, 10 & 11 you will have chosen your GCSE subjects linked to the sort of things that you like doing and based on some idea of what you might do after school. The humanities develops an awareness and understanding of the changing world and nations in which we live. Particularly concerned with developing the geographical, historical, spiritual, economic, social, moral and political awareness.

Enter an essay competition related to the Humanities or Languages field that you are most interested in. This is excellent in expanding your knowledge and showing interest outside of the subject.
Visit TedTalks and the Gresham College websites to explore talks in the field that you are most interested in.
