Mark Murdock 1989-1992

Mark Murdock was the 1989 and 1992 State Discus Champion, Mark was also the 1991 and 1992 State Shot Put Champion, and 1992 EDC Shot Put and Discus Champion. Mark is the current shot put record holder at Red River, and the former record holder in discus. He was a member of the 1989 and 1990 State Championship Hockey team, State Championship Track and Field team in 1992, and a three-year football letterwinner. Mark was a four-time All-American in shot put at the University of North Dakota, and has been inducted into the North Dakota Track and Field Hall of Fame. Mark still coaches track and field today, where he leads the highly successful Bismarck Century throwing program.
