As a rare four-sport athlete, Randi Glas-Paolo left an enduring mark on Red River High School athletics, earning 15 varsity letters in track and field, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. Randi’s varsity career began in 7th grade on the track, where she excelled as a sprinter and relay runner. She earned three letters in track and field and, as a freshman, was part of the school-record-setting 4x400m relay team. In basketball, she played a key role in the Roughriders’ 1992 State Runner-Up finish and helped the team to state tournament appearances in both 1993 and 1994. On the volleyball court, Randi earned three varsity letters and closed out her senior season with All-Conference honors in 1995. Her most decorated achievements came in soccer, where she was a six-year varsity starter. She helped lead Red River to State Championships in 1990, 1991, and 1995, along with three third-place finishes. Randi earned First Team All-State honors from 1992–1995 and was named North Dakota Miss Soccer in 1995. A two-time Grand Forks Herald Red River Female Athlete of the Year (1994, 1995), Randi finished her soccer career at the Division I level, becoming a four-year starter at Washington State University.
