Annie, earning twelve varsity letters, was a three-sport athlete for the Riders and was named the Grand Forks Herald Female Athlete of the Year in 1999 and 2000. She earned All EDC and All-State honors in volleyball in 1999 & 2000 and was named to the All-State Tournament Team in 1998, 1999, and 2000 in helping the Riders to consecutive state championships in 1998 and 1999 and a 2nd place finish in 2000. She was a finalist for Miss Volleyball and was the Gatorade Player of the Year in 2000. In basketball, she was an All-EDC selection in 1999 and 2000, played in the Lions All-Star Game, and was a finalist for State Player of the Year. In track and field, she helped the Riders to team State Championships in 1998 and 2000. Individually, she was a multiple-time place winner in the 300 hurdles, 400 meter dash, 800 meter relay, 1600 meter relay, and 3200 meter relay. She attended the University of North Dakota and was a member of the 2001 National Runner-Up basketball team in 2001.
