For this assignment we talked about how newtons 3 laws connected to rockets. The first law was the law of inertia, then f=ma, then action reaction. We drew images and equations to show our learning. 

One fun fact that I learned is that rockets don't push off of the ground, instead its the action reaction that pushes the gas out. 

This assignment will help me in our exhibition because it will help me better understand how the laws connect to rockets and how I can use them to maken sure the egg doesnt crack.

• Knowing that high school is next year, what strategies do you think you can use to make sure you are well prepared for quizzes/tests in high school science class (2-3 sentences).

Some of the scientific concepts that I covered in my anchor charts were mass, density, volume, speed, acceleration, velocity, newtons laws, free body diagrams, kinetic and potential energy, and more. Each day was something different that connected to our rockets, for example the rocket manual we did. 

I got a meets (11/15) on our first quiz (forces and motion quiz 1), I got an exeeds on our second quiz (10/10 on Forces and Motion quiz 2), and got a meets (4/5) on our third quiz (forces and motion quiz 3). On the first one I only got 4 out of 15 incorrect, which makes it a meets, on my second quiz I got an exeeds because I got all of the questions correct, and lastly on our third quiz I got a meets because I got one wrong out of 5. 

If I was to rate the amount of effort that I put into my anchor charts for this unit I would give myself a 4 1/2 because I think I put in as much detail as I could, added images, and made it look good and relevant. However, I did have to explain why I chose the images because it was digital so next time I wish that I would have done paper to challenge myself. 

I think over this year and throughout the units, my anchor charts have definitely improved. If I look back at some of my earlier ones there is less detail, well some of them have a lot of detail but others lack. Next time I would definitely like to try to d anchor charts on paper because I think it would be a good challenge. 

Next year in highschool to study for quizzes and tests I can use the skills that I have learned over the years at mountain. I can use things like quizlet to help prepare or study, or even make my own anchor charts or notes to make sure I am prepared.
