We went to a zoo and we got to feed giraffes and see so many different animals, like my favorite type of monkey orangutan. In the picture we were on top of a statue of a hippo by the huge hippo pool.
In the cave of the winds we got to tour a huge cave on top of a mountain, we also did a huge outside obstacle course that was four stories and was huge! In this picture we were posing next to a large fake bear, in the one below it was a picture of inside the caves.
We got to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge and swim when we got back from long day's. It also had an arcade and a small obstacle course in the air. It also had a Minnie golf course and had an ice cream shop, dunkin, and a build a bear.
For this we had a long tour of where some smaller people who want to be in the Olympics go to train.
This was a very long hike that took a while but it was all stairs straight up a mountain. It had 2768 steps. It was very long and very hard, the elevation climes quickly and the way down is all long and steep switchbacks.
After we did the Incline we then took a cog up all the way to pikes peek. When we were heading up almost five minutes after we got on and were going it started snowing. When we got to the top it was a blizzard and had many feet of snow at the top.
I thought this intersession was really fun and I got pushed out of my comfort zone a lot. I think I did a lot of things I would do again, and some things I wouldn't that I realized I don't like much. I think being with a small group was better and more fun instead of a huge group of kids. I also liked the freedom of having your own hotel room with just me and my friend. If this intersession was there again next year I probably wouldn't go on it only to try new things instead of doing the same thing over and over again. I think that we did a little to much and tried to fit way too many things in at once, and it became a little busy and rushed and when we did things we found fun we did not have a lot of time to do it.
