How has your definition of Identity changed from the beginning of the year to now?
How has a challenge or adversity become a strength for you?
How have these aspects of identity helped you become the person you are today?
How did my Myth reflect the moral of my original Identity narrative?
In Mountain Strong, we thought of a story that we remembered that helped shape our Identity. I chose a story of myself when I was still learning to ride a bike and falling down, and we changed it into a myth. I changed mine into a myth about a little turtle trying to get to the ocean. The little turtle was struggling to get to the ocean and got knocked down by the waves sometimes, but she kept going and persevered to get there. She also learned to slow down and take her time instead of just running into things. Eventually she got to the ocean and she took her time learning how to swim more, she understood that she must have the basics down before she swam deeper. It connects to my personal narrative moral by explaining that the turtle got knocked down but then took her time and eventually got to the ocean.
