My definition of Identity is being able to understand who you are and what you like to do, who you hang out with, and other things that describe who you are. 

Some aspects of life that create somebodies Identity could be things like family, friends, your job, school, emotions, how you see yourself, who you want to be, and more. 

I predict that my Identity could be affected by my 7th grade year by me being able to figure things out more. Like what I like, or who I am friends with, and also just figuring out things that kinda make me me. 

Our 7th grade level lens is Identity. To me that means who you are, what you like, who you like, and basically everything about who you are. To me Identity is the hardest grade level lens, because you have to go deep in yourself and answer questions that you might not even know the answer to. This year, It has been a bit difficult to answer so many questions about myself in a short period of time. We have done many activities that connect to our grade level lens so far. One example is, , A mask that we did on our Identity class (Aka mountain strong), which is where we put plaster on our faces which made a mask that is the shape of our face, and made a poem about ourselves.

I am currently 12 years old and in 7th grade. I like hanging out with my friends and getting along with most people. I hope you're studying to be a dermatologist and I hope that’s still what you want to do. So far in school I like reading and I HATE math, it’s NaStY. I like chilling at home on the weekends or going to the lake to swim. I don’t play sports because I don’t like new people or “ranndo’s” as I call them. One thing I want to get better at is Math, it’s kind of confusing right now. Some hobbies I like are swimming, reading,writing, paddle boarding, really anything with water, being outside, being chill, relaxing, and more. I hope you enjoy what you are doing with yourself, and I hope that you like where you are. 7th grade is not so fun, but I hope what you are doing is better.

Your Past Self.

My personal goal is to try new things and try to find more things that I enjoy. I feel like I don't try new things a lot, and when It comes to like things I like to do, I can only come up with a few examples. So I want to try new things and try to figure out what I like to do. I also want to have a better understanding of myself and explore what makes me me.
