This test was about geometry, specifically with angles shapes, picking true statements, translations, reflections, rotations, and more. I got a meets on this test because I got 12/14 of the questions correct. Some of the questions I got half of the credit on, so in total the questions I got wrong were two. For example, I would get two things correct on one question but one thing would be wrong so it would be -.5.
My goal for my learning performance on the next unit is to make sure to understand all the mathematical wording and be more mathematically specific. I am setting this goal so that when I have questions asking me to explain why, I can get full credit by being specific and using the correct mathematical wording.
Quiz #1 was a geometry quiz, it talked about shapes and using different skills such as, rotations, reflections, and translations. I received a 5/5 on this quiz (Meets) , I got this grade because I was able to understand what we were learning and completed all the questions correctly.
A goal I will set for myself in the future to be successful in math is to try to understand why I got a question wrong if I do, and reflect on It for the future.
Quiz #2 was also about geometry, it talked about translations, rotations, and reflections as well as congruent shapes and moving them. I received a 5/5 on this quiz (meets), because I got all of the questions correctly.
Like I said for quiz #1, my goal in the future to better become successful at math is to reflect and better understand any questions that I get wrong.
I received a 4/5 on this test (Meets) because I got all but one question wrong. This quiz was about congruence, similar shapes, reflections, translations, scale, and more.
Next time, I would like to reflect on and better understand questions that I get wrong or missed.
