For this project we worked a lot with learning how successfule45 cvx 7 businesses work and a lot of the budget and financial parts of a business. We had guest speakers of a business come in as well as a member of the chamber of commerce who talked about ideas for our UN goals. 

One way I grew was not having note cards, which I normally have during presentations just in case I forget what I'm saying. Even though I didn't have note cards I still spoke well and was confident. One of the challenges was time, especially with CMAS, we couldn't always finish parts of the business in one day because of this. But I grew from that because we were able to still make a successful business that won. 

I learned a lot about how businesses that support UN goals help society and help the communities around them. Which we then incorporated into our  business plan and overall business. 

I learned that I am able to (With my partner) create a successful business that supported 2 (basically 4) of the UN sustainable development goals by helping my community and beyond. 

Overall, I would give myself and exeeds on this project because of the way I was able to work with my partner. Plus, we won so that should be a given because we beat all the other businesses. I also worked well with the written aspect, and presentation aspect. 

Next year one of my goals will be to study for things to make sure I understand 

Another one of my goals will be to work just as hard as I did on this project on any other assignment or projects in high school.

The purpose of this assignment was to look at globalization in different countries depending on the three items you picked (Favorite food, favorite clothing item, and favorite extracurricular item). I picked watermelon, socks, and tennis balls. Then we found out the most popular brand, country origin, and production process. Once we found out the information for our three items, we made a map on a website and marked what countries this item goes through and what that countries purpose is in exporting or importing the item. 

I received an exceeds on this assignment because I was extremely detailed in the countries details and why they were important in the process. I also included images of each country. And even though they were a bunch of countries included in the process I still did it with just as much effort instead of skipping it. 

On this project I mainly used Integrity and effort because I had the integrity in writing about all of the countries I found instead of getting rid of some to make it easier. I also made sure to fact check my information before I added it to my map and assignment. I used effort because I spent a lot of time researching about each item, and also writing about them on both my assignment document and the actual map. I also color coded the map so you could see which countries connected to the specific item, and made it as neat as possible. 

For this unit we worked on ( for about a week) finance. We learned about things like gross income, net income, taxes, budgets, etc. We took a pre test the first day of the unit (To see what we already knew), then we fully began researching and doing things on it. We also did things like creating a budget plan and fees for our job that we got to pick and more. After the unit, we then took a test which you can earn money on (also done in 5th grade). There was 30 questions and each was .50 cents, if you got all of them correct you earned 15 dollars. 

I earned an exceeds on this test because I got all of the questions correct earning a total of 15 dollars. 

I used effort and refinement the most on this test because I prepared a lot for it. Many people didn't study or anything, but the money motivated me to try my hardest (not that I don't always try my best of course). So I spent a lot of time learning and using refinement from the pretest ( I think I got 17/30 questions right) to help get the questions correct on the post test. 

I got a meets on the Socratic seminar because I talked twice like I was supposed to and just did normally.  But I also added onto peoples ideas and thoughts blending both my views and theirs together.  I got an exceeds on my socratic seminar sheet because I added a bunch of detail and thought into what I was writing. I also added two quotes for each question to full elaborate on what I was answering. Plus I added two questions at the end of the sheet if I wanted to ask them in the seminar. 

The purpose of this assignment was to write down answers to one of the seven main questions with a quote and a note. This was to better understand the book, chapter, and main  questions. 

I have not gotten a grade on this assignment yet. 

In this assignment I used effort mostly because of the work I put into it. Many of the chapters were confusing especially when the author was writing about himself learning about Chris Mccandles (the protagonist), but I still was able to find an answer through a quote in the book and write about why I picked the quote and why it was important.
