So far in science we just ended a unit about chemistry, where we learned about chemical reactions, physical reactions, atoms, electrons, and more. And started a new unit about wave physics, which we haven't really done much on.
For the first unit in science, we made anchor Charts after our lessons. In total (Unit 1 only) I have 8. Each anchor chart has a different topic, where I explain and add images to show what I learned in class that day. I received a meets plus on my anchor charts, because I was organized and added nice visuals to go with what I was talking about. I hope to get the same grade on future anchor charts, meets or meets plus. I will do the same thing I did for these anchor charts, and add visuals, colors, and be detailed.
We found that the phosphate level in little molas lake is not at a healthy level.
When we tested the water quality at little molis lake, we found that it was unhealthy. This has changed my perspective on the importance of science and understanding the world around me by seeing that lakes around the world are also at an unhealthy level of phosphate, and could be negatively impacted by that.
The data collection was a little interesting because we tested the water and it said it was 1 ppm, but apparently it was actually like .001 or something like that so it was a bit confusing. Next time, we should read the instructions better than we did.
