U Card
Your U Card is your official University of Minnesota ID.
PSEO students enrolled in at least one class at the University of Minnesota Morris are eligible for a U Card.
You should have your U Card on you at all times to access University Services and identify yourself as a UMN Morris student.
Your U Card gives you access to secured buildings on campus based on your role/status at the University.
Your U Card gives you access to different services on campus.
Your U Card can be used to access accounts that are attached to your U Card.
Note: If you purchase a UMN Morris Meal plan, it will be added to your U Card. Meal plans are managed through University Dining Services. If you have questions about meal plans, please visit Dining Services
New PSEO Students
IMPORTANT!
If you receive a U Card as a PSEO student and then apply and are accepted to UMN Morris for your undergraduate education, you will continue to use the same U Card.
You are only eligible for a free U Card every five years.
On-campus PSEO Students
PSEO students who are taking at least one course on campus will receive their U Card at the U Card Office when they are on campus.
Online-only PSEO Students
Students enrolled exclusively in online courses at UMN Morris must be registered for classes a minimum of 24 hours prior to obtaining a U Card.
Note: University entitlements are based on current status only, not future status.
Taking Care of Your U Card
Do:
Store your U Card in a protective sleeve or case
Keep your U Card in a secure place
Monitor your U Card account balances
Carry your U card with you on campus
Do Not:
Punch a hole in your U Card
Lend your U Card to anyone
Scratch the magnetic stripe
Put your U Card near a magnet
