PSEO course materials that are physical textbooks issued from the UMN Morris Bookstore must be returned by the last day of finals each semester to the UMN MORRIS Bookstore in good condition.
Academic Year 2024-25
Fall 2024 Return Deadline is December 13, 2024
Spring 2025 Return Deadlines is May 19, 2025
See the chart below to check which course materials you need to return.
If you're returning materials for dropped or withdrawn courses, see the dropped & withdrawn courses section for instructions.
Bring your U Card or other photo ID and student ID number.
Go to the UMN MORRIS Bookstore, 1125 Science Building, to return all course materials received on your scholarship authorization.
DO NOT SELL your course materials to the Bookstore by mistake. You should NOT receive money for PSEO book returns.
You may receive an emailed receipt of your returned items after the UMN Morris Bookstore checks them in.
If you DROP a course, you should immediately return all the required physical course materials to the UMN Morris Bookstore.
If you ordered course materials for pick-up, please email Wendy Evink, UMN Morris Bookstore Manager (evinkwr@morris.umn.edu), to cancel the items for your dropped course(s) so the PSEO program isn't charged. Include your order number and the dropped course(s) in your email.
If you need to return course materials that were shipped to you, please send the course materials to Wendy Evink, UMN Morris Bookstore Manager, 1125 Science Building, 600 East 4th Street, Morris, MN 56267.
If you WITHDRAW from a course:
You will receive a "W" on your transcript.
Your course materials are due back on the return deadline at the end of the semester. However, we recommend that you return them as soon as possible so they don't become misplaced or damaged.
If you'll be taking a PSEO course the next semester that uses the same required course material as your current PSEO course, you may request that the item be reissued to you for another semester of PSEO. (For example, MATH 1012: Precalculus I: Functions uses the same textbook for MATH 1013: Precalculus II: Trigonometry.) World Language courses often reuse materials from fall to spring semester.
Complete the Course Materials Reissue Request to request to keep specific course materials through the upcoming semester.
If you complete this form but change your mind about taking the course next semester, please immediately return your item(s) to the UMN Morris Bookstore.
PSEO students will be charged the used cost of course materials not returned by the textbook return deadline for that semester.
The UMN Morris Bookstore is located at 1125 Science Building on the ground level.
