New Student Orientation
and Registration Day
How to Search for Courses
Tip
Schedule Builder lags a few minutes behind MyU. If a course appears open on Schedule Builder but full on MyU, trust MyU.
Registration Process
Your first semester, you will self-register during your meeting with the PSEO Adviser at your New Student Orientation (NSO) session or individual . An advising hold on your record will prevent you from registering until you meet with the PSEO Adviser.
In subsequent semesters, you will attend a PSEO advising meeting to plan your classes prior to open registration. The PSEO Adviser registers all PSEO students on the first day of open enrollment. There will be an advising hold on your record that prevents you from self-registering.
Go to Schedule Builder to create and save your first choice class schedule. Save one or two alternative schedules to plan for full classes.
When you are ready to register (while meeting with the PSEO Adviser), use the Send to Shopping Cart button to move your classes to the MyU Shopping Cart. Sending courses to your shopping cart does not enroll you in the course(s).
Select A-F for the grading basis.
Select "Yes, put me on the waitlist if the class is full." (it will ask this even if there are open seats in the course)
Follow the One Stop guide on how to : Register for a Class.
You'll receive a message about being a "non-degree student." Ignore this message and click "Ok."
You will see a green check mark when your registration is successfully completed as indicated in this image.
