Vision
All PSEO students will successfully transition into the UMN Morris community and rigorous academic environment, achieve academic success, and use the experience to accomplish their post-high school goals.
Mission
The Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program at the University of Minnesota Morris campus admits Minnesota high school juniors and seniors who show academic preparedness for accelerated coursework and supports them as they transition to a rigorous university curriculum. We are here to help our students succeed by providing proactive communication and comprehensive student services while preparing them for their post-high school experience.
Expectations for University Coursework
The courses and credits you take and the grades you earn become part of your permanent University of Minnesota transcript and may influence your future academic career, such as acceptance to college, graduate and professional programs, and scholarship opportunities. For each credit, expect two to three hours of homework per week. A typical college course is four credits so you can expect 8 to 12 hours of homework per week from one course.
