Some classes may require permission from an instructor before you may enroll in the course.
You may need permission if:
You have not completed the course prerequisites.
Your completed prerequisites are transfer courses.
You want to register for a closed class or a class that has reserved seats.
You want to register during the time period when instructor permission is required.
Start by asking the PSEO Adviser for help.
Remember to contact your PSEO advisor for guidance BEFORE requesting permission from an instructor.
See How to Request a Permission Number BEFORE you email an instructor. A permission number will override the enrollment cap and allow the PSEO Adviser to add you to the class.
If you are able to attend the first day of a class (do not skip a class that you are already registered for in order to do this) and a student who was registered does not show, you may be assigned their place in the class per the Mandatory First-Day Attendance Policy.
Keep checking the class every day via Schedule Builder. Other students may change their schedules and seats may become available. Sometimes campus divisions add additional seats, release reserved seats, or open new sections.
