This week students will continue to focus on identify imaginative texts and their purpose. We will also practise reading quickly and accurately, using the correct expression.
This week students will continue to explore narrative writing they will also have the opportunity to do their own free choice writing.
This week we will continue to This week we will continue to focus on saying, reading and writing two-digit and three-digit numbers in their worded form. We will be using materials such as the MAB blocks to support their understandings. Students will also explore collecting data through the use of tallies and creating their own column graphs.
In spelling this week, we will be focusing on the digraphs: igh/y, ue/ew (/oo/), ue/ew (/ū/) We will also be focusing on the words: February, were, friend
In our grammar lesson, we will be focusing on what a noun is, and explore nouns in a text.
** Differentiated learning will be present in each class to cater for all students individual learning requirements.

This week, we will be continuing 'Friendology'!
Friendology teaches children the key skills of relationships and how to navigate conflict with their peers.
Our next lessons are called 'making friends' and 'friendship facts'. Making friends is about teaching students strategies for making new friends, including how to introduce themselves and ask a friend to play. Friendship facts is about teaching what respect looks and sounds like in their friendships.

The extended absence choice board activities are designed to keep students engaged and aligned with the Victorian Curriculum during an extended absence.
