In wellbeing this week, we will continue our Respectful Relationship lessons.
In our first lesson, we will identify strengths and strategies when playing with others. This will include discussing the emotions students can feel when they lose or are excluded from a game, and learning strategies for working out who goes first in a game.
In our second lesson, we will explore different coping strategies.
Cheering coping strategies: when it is useful to have ways to cheer ourselves up (for example, when we feel lonely,sad or bored).
Calming coping strategies: when it is useful to have ways to calm ourselves down (for example, when we are angry, afraid, anxious, jealous or very excited).
