Child writes the word, saying each sound as he/she writes.
Draw child’s attention to the target phonic pattern.
Help child choose the correct spelling pattern if there are options.

This week, we will begin to focus on Cyber Safety in the area of 'responsibilty'.
This lesson will focus on recognising some common
behaviours of tricky people online.
We will explain the concept of red flags and green flags to
students: red flags are signs of danger to our safety;
green flags are a sign that it’s safe to continue.
We will be talking to students about the red flags of tricky people that are represented in the poster.
We will also create a list of strategies for staying safe from tricky people online. Strategies may include: playing in private online spaces, having a trusted adult help you check the settings on your games and devices and ask a trusted adult before playing.
