In wellbeing this week, we will continue our Respectful Relationship lessons. Our goals for this week are to:
• identify possible sources of help for problems.
• act out some problem-solving and help-seeking strategies.
We will be exploring scenarios where students will think of different options, so we can all see how many suggestions we have. Then students will act them out, so we can see how the different ideas might work. Then we will look at the upsides and the downsides of the ideas. Because we are all different in some ways, we may choose different ideas, and that is okay.
Feel free to use these follow up questions at home:
• How do you deal with problems in your personal life?
• What are the most common problems within your class?
• What role do you play in assisting students to work through their problems?
