During trimester two, students on 7 White did a fantastic job creating so many different types of art. This project is a self portrait drawn over neurographic art. Neurographic art is a type of art that focuses on mindfulness. The students created the main part of their pieces and then added in text and Zentangles. After creating their neurographic peices, students had photos of themselves taken, and then traced the contour of these images onto acetate, a clear material. After that, 7 White students painted part of the back of the acetate to give their images color. When the portraits were placed over the neurographic design, the background neurograhics showed through the unpainted parts. This was a really cool project, and I really enjoyed seeing everyone's finished products! Great job, 7 White!
