FABRICATION STUDIES
Fabrication Studies 10 Introductory (3 credits)
Provides experience in welding processes combined with the theory behind each process. Topics include Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Flux Core Arc Welding, and Oxy-acetylene Welding. This is an introductory course only and does not meet prerequisite requirements for advancement to Intermediate Fabrication Studies.
There is a $90 fee for this course not including coveralls, gloves, safety glasses and comfort band.
Fabrication Studies 10 Introductory (5 credits)
Provides experience in welding processes combined with the theory behind each process. Topics include Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Flux Core Arc Welding, Oxy-acetylene Welding, Thermal Cutting, layout and assembly.

Fabrication Studies 20 Intermediate (5 credits)
Prerequisite: Successful completion the 5 Introductory Course Credits.
This class expands upon the skills acquired in the introductory class. Students broaden experiences in the areas of welding and fabrication.
There is a $150 fee for this course not including coveralls, gloves, safety glasses & comfort band.
Fabrication Studies 30 Advanced (5 credits)
Prerequisite: Successful completion of the 5 Intermediate Course Credits
At this level students work with a variety of processes and procedures or narrow their focus to gain proficiency in specific welding skills.
There is a $150 fee for this course not including the cost of coveralls, gloves, safety glasses and comfort band.
