This course consists of five one credit modules at the grade 12 level. Students will receive a practical introduction to marketing for both consumers and potential business entrepreneurs. Students will also have exposure to a stock market simulation and learn investing fundamentals. This course also provides an excellent opportunity for all Knowledge and Employability (K&E) students to gain an understanding of the elements of marketing in sports, business, and their workplace careers.
Travel and Tourism 10 (3 credits)
This is an introductory course where students will analyse the organizational structure of the tourism industry. The focus will be aimed at having students develop, share, and apply a global perspective in a variety of industries such as travel, adventure, and food and beverage. The program will have an emphasis on food and hospitality. Available based on enrollment. There is a $30 fee for this course.
