Our Lady of the Rockies High School boasts some of the finest Career and Technology Studies (CTS) labs in the city. Due to the excellent facilities and experienced teachers at our school, we are able to offer a variety of CTS program clusters to our students. The organization of CTS into clusters provides opportunities for students to sample courses of interest or focus on a pathway to a specialized skill. Some courses require prerequisites, which are necessary for maintaining safety standards, instructional sequence, and articulation with post-secondary programs.

The leadership program encourages students to practice the key elements of “servant leadership” through “hands on” event management taking place at Our Lady of the Rockies High School throughout the year. Within the class, student driven team building processes will develop a sense of trust, responsibility, and commitment to each other. This positive, non-threatening environment provides the structure for students to take risks; thereby giving them the confidence to make a difference at Our Lady of the Rockies and in the community. This flexible course taps into students’ interests and strengths by collaborating with coaches, teachers, students, athletes, and parents to deliver high profile events throughout the school such as the “Fall sports games and events, Basketball Tournaments, scorekeeping, Feeder School events and tournaments. Students will develop their own leadership style, learn to take risks in a safe environment in the following capacities that pique their interest such as event management, concession, fan support, communications, event logistics, school wellness, and outside community involvement.
