HCS 3000 Workplace Safety Systems (1, 30-level credit)
HCS 3000 is a mandatory prerequisite course for all Alberta high school students wanting to participate in the Work Experience Program. HCS 3000 is about workplace safety systems, and, upon completion, students will receive one grade 12 credit. This course is offered online. This class may be completed in grade 10, 11, or 12 but it is recommended that it be completed in grade 10. Students must meet with the Off-Campus Coordinator.
CSSD collaborates with SAIT, Bow Valley College, Old’s College, and Careers Next Generation to provide our students with a variety of applied education and work learning experiences. Dual Credit, Exploratory, Green Certificate, Career Discovery, Registered Apprenticeship and Work Experience are some of the program options available where various credits and industry certificates may be awarded. CSSD also offers several online courses free of charge with Bow Valley College & Old’s College.
