Drama 10 (3 credits)
This program mirrors the 5 credits program; due to time restraints, fewer assignments are offered in each unit.
Prerequisite: 50% in Drama 20
Drama 30 is the final class for Drama at the high school level. The focus is on directing for theatre. The program includes units in orientation, Shakespearean acting, and directing.
This program focuses on risk taking and improving the individual’s skill in ensemble situations and includes units in orientation, basic acting skills, theatre conventions and character creation.
Drama 20 (5 credits)
Prerequisite: 50% in Drama 10
Drama 20 is the introduction to the theatre performance program for Drama at the high school level. The focus is experiencing the art of acting. The program includes units in orientation, performing monologues and scene work, reader’s theatre, accents, and playwriting.
