WORKSHOPS, TIMING, ROOM ASSIGNMENTS, PARTICIPANTS, ETC
Where will my workshop take place? All workshops happen in the "B Building" classrooms (just across the grass from teh cafeteria, about 30m). Each classroom is set up for at least 25 learners minimum. We do have some larger classrooms as well. We will not assign specific rooms until the day before the event when we have a clear sense of numbers and we can place bigger workshops in bigger rooms.
How many learners will I have? If you workshop might be larger than 25, we will contact you to talk about it, and we will assign you to a larger room. We will try to share an indication of how many participants you will have at least 1-2 days before the event.
Am I presenting "Session 1, 2, 3, or 4"? About 1-2 days before the event, we will create a schedule of workshops within the 4 session day that tries to create the best balance for participants based on their workshop preferences. Please let us know if you have a preference of which session you want for your presentation--we cannot promise, but we will do our best to accommodate.
How long are the workshops? Presentations are either 60 or 75 minutes--you select a preference on the form.
RESOURCE SHARING/CO-CONSTRUCTION:
The default for CIEC is to share all resources after the event. If you do not wish to share your resources, that is fine, but please let your participants know and let us know.
After the event, we will ask workshop leaders to share their materials and we will post them on the individual workshop webpages.
We encourage you to develop and share co-constructed resources as well.
