Workshop Description:
This sessions intends to provide short simulation training for teachers who do not have prior experience how to implement accommodations in the classroom to support their students with Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Learning Outcomes:
1. Participants will learn about typical characteristics of common learning difficulties among students
2. Participants will experience how to arrange classroom accommodations outlined in the student's IEP
Presenter:
Joanne Imbag-Duran is a certified Physiotherapist with an MA in Special Education. She has more than 15 years of experience in teaching and supporting students in different settings. She strongly believes in the power of a multidisciplinary IEP team in transforming every classroom into a supportive learning environment for ALL students. She is currently working as the Director of CARE Center, a SEN support services provider.
