Workshop Description:
Guided reading is a modern strategy that primary schools can use to improve students' reading abilities by providing personalized instruction, improving fluency and comprehension, encouraging independent reading, and fostering collaborative learning. This workshop will be interesting for ESL and ELA instructors who would like to expand and improve their foundation skills in this area.
Learner Outcomes:
- Understand the purpose and benefits of guided reading
- Learn how to select appropriate texts for guided reading
- Explore different ways to group students for guided reading
- Discover techniques for supporting students during guided reading sessions
Presenter:
I live and work in Cambodia over decade. I have started my journey in education fifteen years ago and still enjoying it. At the present time I am working in international school in primary section. I am really happy to share some of my experience with participants.
