Workshop Description: 

Introduction to why and how teachers can use alternative forms of assessment rather than testing. Participants will be encouraged to share ideas using technology so if you have a device to bring that is preferred. Content will be presented bilingually and is relevant to both Expat and Khmer teachers at a Primary and Middle school level.

Learner Outcomes:

- Develop a connection between assessment and learning, 

- Use of authentic assessments 

- Toolkit of non-test assessment examples 

- How to assign a 'grade' without using a test

Presenters:

Jacinta and Bopha work at Asian Hope International School as the Head of Primary and Khmer Curriculum Coordinator. With a combined experience of 21 years, they are passionate about providing student-centered, authentic, and engaging learning experiences for students. Their focus is on delivering high-quality education in both Khmer and English instruction.
