Workshop Description:
We will explore the state of Sexuality Education globally and locally, and link this to consent, abuse, and safeguarding. We will then explore what we presently have in our participants' schools. We explore what we believe we could be aiming for, and why. The final step will be to explore the hurdles we may experience, and most importantly, how could we attempt to overcome them.
We will follow a slideshow for the scope and sequence and we will avail ourselves of both simple group work and Kagan structures to enable discussion.
Learner Outcomes:
The intended audience stretches over very late primary/middle school educators/coordinators and middle leadership.
