Workshop:
Peer observation develops collegiality, gives the observer a chance to question his or her own teaching, provide opportunities to discuss challenges and successes with trusted colleagues. These and many more reasons to do peer observations in school inspired me to share the basics of doing it. It does not only help you as an educator but having another eye to see your classroom helps in making you understand your learners better. In this session, we will recognize the existence of "blind spot" and how peer observations make that spot visible to you. Together, let us discover this area.
Learner Outcomes:
1. Build a community of trust among attendees through opening classroom practices.
2. Knowing the basics of facilitating a peer observation.
3. Identify blind spots from given scenarios
